This Ramadan brought an unforgettable experience for brothers Omar, Ebrahim, and Abdullah as they joined their parents and cousins for nightly Taraweeh prayers. What made this year's spiritual journey even more memorable was an unexpected reward that added extra joy to their worship.

Hundreds of children across the city received special Dh500 Eidiya gifts after participating in a unique Ramadan Passport program. The initiative encouraged young worshippers to attend Taraweeh prayers by collecting stamps in their booklets throughout the holy month.

The Lowna brothers - five-year-old Omar, along with his siblings Abdullah (13) and Ebrahim (11) - turned prayer time into a cherished family tradition. Though they discovered the passport program mid-Ramadan, their dedication earned them five precious stamps before the initiative concluded.

"We mostly prayed at Shaikha Hind Masjid in Za'abeel 2," shared Abdullah enthusiastically. "But we also visited Grand Za'abeel Masjid and Al Twar Masjid to experience different congregations." For Qiyam prayers, the family specifically traveled to Masjid Majeed in Al Jaddaf to pray behind their favorite Imam, Abdullah Ubeidli.

The rewards extended beyond just monetary gifts - vouchers and ice cream treats after prayers became delightful bonuses that made late nights more exciting. Their father Sameer Lowna observed how this experience deepened both faith and family bonds: "Seeing my sons so committed warmed my heart. Sometimes cousins joined us too, making it a beautiful gathering."
