Emily Blunt Drops Exciting Update on 'The Devil Wears Prada' Sequel

Fans of the iconic fashion film The Devil Wears Prada have reason to celebrate as Emily Blunt shares thrilling news about the long-awaited sequel.

The acclaimed actress recently revealed that production for the follow-up to the beloved 2006 movie will begin next month, with her returning as the unforgettable Emily Charlton. While keeping details under wraps, Blunt couldn't contain her excitement about reprising her breakout role.

"Am I allowed to say that?" Blunt playfully asked her representative before confirming the news to Entertainment Tonight. Her humorous hesitation only added to fans' anticipation, as she teased: "Can you tell I'm skirting the issue? Can you tell I can't tell you anything?"

Interestingly, even though filming is imminent, Blunt admitted she hasn't seen a script yet. "It's so weird, I haven't even read a script. I don't know. I'm just like, 'Where is she?' I don't know," she told reporters with characteristic charm.

The original creative team is reassembling for this new chapter. Screenwriter Aline Bros McKenna returns to craft the story, while David Frankel will once again take directorial duties - promising continuity with what made the first film so special.
