Indian professionals in the UAE’s tech and innovation sectors are earning monthly salaries of up to Dh45,000, driven by growing demand in fields such as artificial intelligence (AI), fintech, and digital transformation. Anshuman Das, CEO and co-founder of Careernet Group, revealed in an interview that Indian professionals working in mid- to senior-level roles within technology, product, and digital sectors in the UAE can earn two to three times more than they would in India. “Depending on their experience and role, professionals in these fields typically earn between Dh25,000 and Dh45,000 per month,” he said. Salaries for senior leadership or highly specialized roles can exceed that range.
He emphasized that today's professionals are looking for more than just a competitive salary. “Candidates are increasingly valuing relocation support, performance-based bonuses, career development opportunities, and international exposure,” Das noted. “The UAE ticks all these boxes, making it an attractive destination for long-term career growth.”
Besides salary, professionals benefit from the UAE’s tax-free income, which can enhance take-home pay by an additional 20 to 35 per cent. Historically, Indian workers in the UAE found roles in sectors such as hospitality, oil and gas, and construction. However, the landscape has changed. Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and other major cities are now actively investing in high-growth sectors like AI, data science, and semiconductor engineering.
