Which Online Supermarket in Singapore Has the Cheapest Delivery? Here’s Your 2026 Guide to Saving on Groceries

Lifestyle

Let’s face it — not everyone in Singapore has the time or energy to visit the supermarket after work or on a packed weekend. That’s where online grocery shopping shines. With just a few clicks, you can stock up on daily essentials, browse exclusive deals, and have everything delivered straight to your doorstep.

But while online grocery shopping is incredibly convenient, the delivery fees and minimum order amounts can sneak up on you. If you’re trying to top up one or two forgotten items, chances are you’ll either have to wait or pay more than you’d like.

So which online supermarket offers the best bang for your buck when it comes to delivery fees? We break down the costs, minimum order amounts, and bonus hacks to help you save on your next grocery run.

Cheapest Delivery Option: RedMart — From $1.99 for Saver Slots RedMart (via Lazada) remains one of the most affordable and reliable options out there. With delivery from just $1.99 for a 6-hour window and free delivery above $60, it’s ideal for households buying in bulk or regular shoppers topping up their pantry.

What’s more, RedMart features international favourites like Woolworths, Coles and Sainsbury’s — great if you love overseas snacks.

Lowest Minimum Spend for Free Delivery: Giant & Cold Storage — $59 Both Giant and Cold Storage offer free delivery from $59 — among the lowest in the market. Below that, Cold Storage charges $7, while Giant also charges $7. Given that Giant is known for its affordable house-brand items, it’s a solid pick for budget-conscious shoppers.

Most Expensive Delivery: NTUC FairPrice Online — Up to $8.99 While FairPrice is known for good in-store prices, its online delivery can be a little steep. Orders under $59 incur a $5 delivery fee plus a $3.99 service fee, totalling $8.99. Even if you qualify for free delivery by hitting $59, that $3.99 service fee still applies.

And during peak periods? You may be charged even more depending on the delivery slot.

Sheng Siong: Budget Prices, But High Free Delivery Threshold ($100) Sheng Siong remains one of the most affordable supermarkets in terms of product pricing. However, its $100 minimum spend for free delivery is on the higher end. Orders below that cost $6 in delivery fees. If you can’t hit $100, it might be better to shop in-store, especially if there’s a Sheng Siong outlet near your home.

Their online site is also not the most intuitive — search results may not always show what you're looking for unless your keywords are spot on.

Amazon Fresh: Fast, But Comes at a Price Amazon Fresh is great if you're an Amazon Prime member ($2.99/month) and want same-day delivery. Free 2-hour delivery is available if you spend $60 and up, but 1-hour delivery still costs $9.99. If you're not a Prime member, expect to pay $7.99 or more for delivery under $60.

While convenient and fast, Amazon Fresh might not be worth it unless you’re also using other Prime benefits like video streaming.
