The latest rankings for Asia's 50 Best Bars in 2026 have been released, showcasing a mix of familiar local favorites and some notable changes. Singapore, however, has seen a decrease in the number of establishments making the prestigious list compared to the previous year.

In 2024, Singapore boasted 11 bars on the list, but in the current year, only five bars made the cut.

During the awards ceremony held in Macau on July 15, it was announced that Jigger & Pony, situated in Amara Singapore, maintained its impressive position as the third-best bar for the second consecutive year.

Among the other Singapore bars that made it to the top 50 are Offtrack at No. 23, climbing from its previous No. 25 position; Nutmeg & Clove at No. 24, slipping from its former No. 6 rank; Cat Bite Club at No. 44, advancing from No. 77; and Native at No. 45, down from No. 31.

Five bars from the 2024 list have now moved to the extended 51 to 100 list. These include Sago House at No. 56 (previously No. 15), Origin Bar at No. 60 (formerly No. 32), Night Hawk at No. 77 (previously No. 16), Employees Only at No. 89 (previously No. 38), and Fura at No. 95 (previously No. 42).

Notably, Atlas, ranked at No. 49 last year, did not make it to either the top 50 or the extended list this year. The only other Singapore bar on the extended list is Side Door at No. 53.

While Singapore had eight bars on the extended list last year, this year the number has decreased to six.

Hong Kong's Bar Leone Secures the Top Spot

Claiming the coveted first place on the Asia's 50 Best Bars 2026 list is Bar Leone from Hong Kong.

Other notable bars in the top five include Zest from Seoul (No. 2), Bar Us from Bangkok (No. 4), and Dry Wave Cocktail Studio from Bangkok as well (No. 5).

Bangkok leads with the most bars in the top 50, with a total of seven establishments, closely followed by Hong Kong with six bars on the list.

The Asia's 50 Best Bars list, organized by UK-based media group William Reed, serves as the regional edition of The World's 50 Best Bars. The rankings are determined through votes from the Asia's 50 Best Bars Academy.
