Exciting news for those interested in Meta AI glasses! Ray-Ban and Oakley have officially launched their Meta AI glasses in Singapore.

On April 20, technology company Meta and eyewear giant EssilorLuxottica announced that the highly anticipated AI glasses will be available for purchase throughout the island.

Previously, these glasses could only be acquired through third-party retailers.

On March 31, EssilorLuxottica revealed plans to expand the entire AI glasses collection to new markets, including Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Chile, Peru, and Colombia later this year.

The Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 2) Wayfarer, Skyler, and Headliner models are already available in stores, while the new Blayzer and Scriber Optics lines will launch on May 6.

These glasses feature impressive capabilities such as 3K Ultra HD video recording, an enhanced 12MP camera, and hands-free filming and communication, including video calls, supported by a six-mic system with open-ear speakers.

Prices for these glasses start at $629.

To celebrate this launch, Ray-Ban will host a Meta pop-up at Orchard Road, outside the Mandarin Gallery, from May 6 to 17.

The pop-up will be open daily from 10 am to 10 pm, showcasing the full range of products and styles. Visitors will also have the opportunity to get custom engravings on their Ray-Ban Meta cases.

Additionally, customers can purchase glasses from the Oakley Meta HSTN and Oakley Meta Vanguard lines in Singapore.

The Oakley Meta HSTN offers a battery life of eight hours during typical use and up to 19 hours on standby, along with a charging case that provides up to 48 hours of on-the-go charging and a 12MP ultra-wide camera capable of Ultra HD 3K recording.

Meanwhile, the Oakley Meta Vanguard provides up to nine hours of usage and six hours of continuous audio playback, with each pair coming with a charging case that offers an extra 35 hours of power.

The glasses feature a 12MP camera with a 124-degree wide-angle lens, recording in up to 3K resolution. They also include open-ear speakers with a five-mic, wind-optimized array to minimize noise during workouts.

Prices for the Oakley models begin at $659.
