Changi Airport is set to undergo a significant transformation with the introduction of a new private terminal and lifestyle hub scheduled to open in mid-2027.
The site for the Commercially Important Persons (CIP) terminal, situated at the southern end of Terminal 2, will be redeveloped into a dynamic travel and lifestyle destination, as announced by the Changi Airport Group (CAG) on April 15.
This development will feature a modernized private terminal along with a new cluster of amenities connected to the existing Hub & Spoke, offering innovative dining options and wellness as well as pet-friendly facilities for both travelers and residents.
Guests can also look forward to Changi's first covered amphitheater and open-air plaza, designed to accommodate intimate to mid-scale events.
The new facility will be conveniently located near the upcoming Hotel Indigo.
The private terminal will boast a luxurious lounge, bar, private suites, and bespoke dining, complemented by a versatile, upscale event space suitable for larger groups and private gatherings.

The terminal will be operated collaboratively by CAG and Plaza Premium Group (PPG), a global airport lounge operator.
Ang Siew Min, CAG's senior vice-president of airport operations development and airport operations services, stated that this private terminal aims to meet the demands of travelers seeking a personalized premium experience that goes beyond just a comfortable waiting area before their flight.
"A curated selection of dining and wellness offerings awaits just steps from the private terminal, further enriching the suite of options available to our passengers," he added.
